Mrs. Allison Marie Cox, age 65, of Mayfield passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

She was a member of Emmanuel Church in Mayfield, KY and a retired employee of Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Ronald Lynn Cox; her mother, Donna Murphy of Mayfield, KY; two daughters, Heather (James) Payne of Wingo, KY and Holly (Brandon) VeuCasovic of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Allen Spears of Farmington,MO; one sister, Sharlisa Bowlin of Benton, KY; two stepbrothers, Greg Murphy and Brian (Tammy) Murphy both of Fancy Farm, KY; and five grandchildren, Jayce Payne, Briley VeuCasovic, KayLynn Payne, Bodie VeuCasovic and Adley VeuCasovic.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carol Spears;her stepfather, Thomas George Murphy; and one brother-in-law, Johnny Bowlin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Allison Marie Cox will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Duane Fields will officiate.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
