Mr. Bob D. Cornman, age 94, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

Bob was a graduate of Mayfield High School and Murray State University; a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War; a member of First United Methodist Church; and a retired CPA.  He was a former partner of Cornman, Bryan, and Watts, CPAs. He was also a past president of the KY Society of CPAs; KY State Board of Accounting and Mayfield Rotary Club.  Bob was a former member of the Board of Directors for First Federal Savings and Loan in Mayfield, KY; Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway Authority; and a former member of the Lambuth University Board of Trustees.

Mr. Cornman is survived by his wife, Joyce Seay Cornman; one daughter, Cindy K. (Peter) Sevin of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Nancy (Larry) Ackley of Benton, KY; and two grandchildren, Blake Sevin of Phoenix, AZ and Dale (Morgan) Sevin of Middleburgh, NY.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Cornman and David Cornman and his parents, Elmer and Opal Langley Cornman.

A memorial service for Mr. Bob D. Cornman will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Adam Rush will officiate.

Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
