Carolyn Naomi Tyler was born October 8, 1963 to the late Leomar Tyler, Sr. and Hathia R. Tyler in Mayfield, KY.  Nannie made her transition to her heavenly home on March 25, 2026.

She was a graduate of Mayfield High School class of 1982.  She was a former employee of Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

She was a dedicated baker, who took great pride in her work and the joy it brought others.  She was known for having a kind and selfless heart and always putting others before herself.  She deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the center of her world, as well as her beloved dog, Teddy.  Carolyn would drop everything to help someone in need and would truly give the shirt off her back without hesitation.  Her generosity, warmth and caring spirit touched everyone who knew her.  She will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

She leaves behind her three children, Nichole (Alonzo) Daniel, Jeremy and Justin (Misti) Tyler all of Mayfield, KY; fifteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Tommy White; three sisters, Delorse (Larry) Hutcherson, Jo Ann Henry and Shirley Tyler Babb; a host of nieces and nephews; and her longtime partner, Kenny Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leomar and Hathia Tyler; three sisters, Rosie Ferguson, Sharry Tyler and Mary Tyler; and three brothers, Leon Tyler, Leroy Tyler and Leomar "Lee Pee" Tyler.

Funeral services for Carolyn Naomi Tyler will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Antonio Sherrill will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ja'Vonte' Tyler, Justin Tyler, Jr., Alonzo "Bubba" Daniel, Jr., Jeremy Tyler, Jr., Ja'Kobe Tyler, Jaiden Tyler, Cephus Tyler, Jr. and Tre' Tyler.

Visitation will be 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
