Mr. Charles Greg Wilson, age 63, of Mayfield, KY passed away Thursday May 25, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture as a supervisor at Pilgrim's Pride, where he worked for 20 years. Mr. Wilson was a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Mary L. Wilson; his mother, Linda Bennett Wilson of Paducah; sister, Pam Wilson Anderson of Paducah; three sons, Michael McClerkin of Union City, TN, Sharron (LaDonna) McClerkin of Summerville, SC and Steven (Shellie) Cheirs of Madisonville, KY; seven grandchildren- Michael McClerkin, Donovan Gary, Camerin McClerkin, Destin Cheirs, Davin Cheirs, Amayia McClerkin, and Aydin McClerkin. Two nephews, Rusty and Roger David Wilson. Two nieces, Brittany (Justin) Anderson Willett and Wendy (Jordan) Turnage. Two great-nieces, Brooklyn and Caroline.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Charles Albert Wilson, his brother Roger Wilson, his son Richie McClerkin and brother-in-law, Randy Anderson.

A funeral service for Charles Greg Wilson is scheduled for 6:00PM Tuesday May 30, 2023 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Father Darrell Venters Will officiate. Sharron McClerkin, Steve Cheirs, Michael McClerkin, Roger David Wilson, Jordan Turnage, Rusty Wilson, and Justin Willett will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
