Mrs. Clarene Cox Wilson, age 84, of Boaz passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

She was a member of Spring Creek Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by one son, Benjamin (Lauri) Wilson of Boaz, KY; one daughter, LaVern (Mark) Vivio of Springfield, TN; one sister, Louetta Lawrence of Michigan; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry A. Wilson; one daughter, LaDonna Wilson; three brothers, Wendell Cox, Farrell Cox and Pete Cox; one sister, Nell Gwen Sims; and her parents, Eulis and Sunshine Mills Cox.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clarene Cox Wilson will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 1, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Stan Colley will officiate.  Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Lovelace, Jeremiah Vivio, Caleb Vivio, Jedediah Vivio, Elijah Vivio, Eli Wilson, Wade Wilson and Max Wilson.

Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the funeral home.
