Mrs. Claudia Ann Andrews, age 80, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

She was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 14, 1943 and lived in Azle, TX for 30 years.  Mrs. Andrews was a horse enthusiast, an award-winning Oil Painter, a collector of primitive antiques. She also loved to travel and was a retired AAA Travel Agent.

Mrs. Andrews is survived by one son, Scott (Michelle) Andrews of San Juan Capistrano, CA; one daughter, Wendi (Barry) Short of Wingo, KY; one brother, Ted (Debbie) Bigbee of Fayetteville, AR; and two granddaughters, Bailee Short of Knoxville, TN and Sarah Short of Paducah, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gary Andrews and her parents, Chuck and Gladys Hawk Bigbee.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
