Mr. Devon L. Saxton, age 31 of Mayfield, KY passed away Sunday April 18, 2021 at his residence.
He formerly worked at M.V.P. Candle Company in Mayfield. Devon was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and formerly played the piano at the church.
He is survived by his parents; Johnnie Saxton of Mayfield and the late Julius Ray Saxton, Lyndon Hunt of Chicago, IL and Lynette Rhodes of Chicago, IL; one brother, Lyndon Hunt, Jr, of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Angelina Croom of Mayfield, KY, Lynette Hunt of Chicago, IL, and Shaquita Hunt of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his father Julius Ray Saxton.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00PM Saturday April 24, 2021 at the Fairview Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Leroy Brent will officiate. Interment will follow in The Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Mayfield. Visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00PM Saturday at the Fairview Baptist Church. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
