Mr. Donnie Rodgers, age 74, of Wingo passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

He was a member of St. Paul Community Church, a retired employee of Ingersoll-Rand and a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.  He was Past Master of Farmington Masonic Lodge, Commander of VFW, Vice Commander of DAV, Senior Vice American Legion Post # 26, member of Mayfield VFW Post # 12197, also a member of Post # 1460 SVC Mayfield, KY.

Mr. Rodgers is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lana McFadden Rodgers; one son, Dennis (Jennifer) Rodgers of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Andrea (Daniel) Dowdy of Wingo, KY; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Suzie Rowland and his parents, Aubrey and Ruby Jean Copeland Rodgers.

Funeral services for Mr. Donnie Rodgers will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Keith Allred will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.  Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post # 26.

Pallbearers will be Tom Cole, Kirk Byrn III, Mark Wix, Jory Kennemore, Wendell Guge and Jackie Lewis.  Honorary pallbearers will be Meagan Gillum, Zoe Dowdy, Logan Clark, Cody Miller, Dawson Dowdy, Aiden Dowdy, Bailie Miller and Summer Dowdy.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M.
