Mrs. Doris Alderdice Norsworthy Morris, age 93, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

She was a member of Lebanon Church of Christ, a Pink Lady at Jackson Purchase Medical Center for 20 years and a retired seamstress with Curlee Clothing Company.

Mrs. Morris is survived by one son, David Norsworthy of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Patricia (Kenneth) Cherry of Mayfield, KY; one sister-in-law, JoAnn Alderdice of Sedalia, KY; three grandchildren, Quincy Cherry, Whitney Cherry (Mark) Green and David Clinton Norsworthy; and two great grandchildren, Quint (Katie) Minnis and Sofie Bugar.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gurvis Norsworthy; her second husband, R. T. Morris; two sisters, Johnnie Ruth Alderdice Brown and Janet Mignon Alderdice Jones; one brother, Kenneth Alderdice; and her parents, Connie Alderdice and Alice Brady Alderdice Dunnaway.

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Alderdice Norsworthy Morris will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Elliot Hamm will officiate.  Interment will follow at Lebanon Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
