Dorothy Nell Canter Graham passed away quietly in her sleep at home on March 13, 2026, at the age of 102.

Born May 14, 1923, in Lynnville, KY to the late Ella Pittman Canter and Clint Canter, Dorothy was a 1940 graduate of Cuba High School. After high school, Dorothy moved to Detroit, MI to work in a defense plant during WWII. After the war, she went to CA to visit her mother and stepfather who had relocated there. It was in CA she met Ray Graham, an Army Lieutenant newly returned from the war. They were married in Las Vegas, NV on November 10,1946 and made their home in San Bernardino, CA for 56 years before Ray's death in 2002.They were members of North Hills Church. Despite all the years in CA, KY was always her home. At the age of 94, she made the decision to move "back home" and settled in Paducah.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Cassie Levy, of Paducah, daughter-in-law Marcia Graham, Charlotte, NC, grandchildren Valerie Angello (Greg), Mint Hill, NC, Sara Jacob (Rahul), Matthews, NC, Aaron Graham (Miranda), Knoxville, TN, and 5 g-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Marc Graham, sisters Dean Davidson, Ruth Story, Mildred Fulton Lafferre, and brother John Canter.

Arrangements are being handled by Byrn Funeral Home, Mayfield, KY. Burial will be private at Baptist Cemetery in Lynnville, KY.
Dorothy's wish was that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Lone Oak First Baptist Church Building Fund, 3601 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY 42003.
