Dorothy Harpole, age 80, of Farmington, KY passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Baptist Health of Paducah Hospital.

She was a member of the Sedalia Baptist Church and retired employee from Murray State University.

Mrs. Harpole is survived by one daughter, Sherry Harpole of Farmington, KY; two grandchildren, Brittany Harpole (Justin) Snyder of Paducah, KY and Miranda Fortner (Brad) Rowland of Kirksey, KY; and three great grandchildren, Kaylee Snyder, Brinley Snyder and Makenley Rowland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Neal Harpole; one brother, Larry Goad; her parents were Cloys and Christine Newsome Goad.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Spence Pate and Justin Snyder will officiate. Interment will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield. Brad Rowland, Justin Snyder, Eric George, Tucker George, Michael Pritchard, and Jerry Pritchard will serve as pallbearers.Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Byrn Funeral Home.
