Mrs. Dorothy Jayne Thompson Shultz, age 88, of Sedalia passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, KY.

She was a member of Lynnville Church of Christ and a retired teacher from Sedalia School.

Mrs. Shultz is survived by one son, Curtis Lynn (Angela) Shultz of Sedalia; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Gerald Shultz; one son, Chris Shultz; one brother, Robert "Jimmy" Thompson; and her parents, Marvin and Edith Runion Thompson.

Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Jayne Thompson Shultz will be 12 noon on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.  Don Riley and Dr. James Savage will officiate.  Interment will follow.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Cates, J. Daniel Shultz, Katelyn Shultz, Billy Kinsey, Randy Baldwin and Dr. Dale Jones.  Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Baldwin and Jim Bowlin.

There is no visitation scheduled.  Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
