Mrs. Dyria "Jean" Maness, age 87, of the Cuba community passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

She was a member of Cuba Church of Christ, the former owner of the Sedalia Restaurant and the Lynnville Grocery & Grill and a retired employee of Motorola.

Mrs. Maness is survived by two daughters, Pam (Garry) Tabers of Cuba, KY and Christie Darnell of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Sandra Horton of Bartlett, TN and Brenda (Larry) Warren of Brownsville, TN; five grandchildren, Mike Maness, T J (Krystal) Steffen, Nick (Sarah) Darnell, Tanesha Tabers and Chad Erwin; and nine great grandchildren, Cadence, Nolan, Jude, Harper, Ally, Evie, Annabella, Camilla and Riggs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll "Boss Hog" Maness; one daughter, Debbie Erwin; five brothers, Calvin Allen, Larry Allen, Jesse Allen, Dennis Allen and Danny Allen; four sisters, Macie Cash, Margie Cathey, Sue Cathey and Loretta McLillie; and her parents, Finis and Ada Blanton Allen.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dyria "Jean" Maness will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Eric George will officiate.  Interment will follow at Cuba Church of Christ Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dan Gardner, Daniel Gardner, Alex Gardner, John Perry, Jackie Pritchard and Tommy Jackson.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
