Mrs. Earlene Key Williams, age 92, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.

She was a former member of South First Street Baptist Church and currently a member of Emmanual church, before her illness she had 60 years of perfect attendance.  She was also a homemaker and a Kentucky Colonel.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Lee Williams, Jr.; five sons, Gaylon Shayne (Kim) Brittain of Paducah, KY, Steve Blayne Brittain of Paducah, KY, Mark Layne Brittain of Mayfield, KY, Shannon Neal (Betsy) Puckett of Murray, KY and Christopher Lee (Katie) Stairs of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Sherri Puckett of Murray, KY; three brothers, Bud Key of Mayfield, KY, Johnny Key of Paducah, KY and Carl Key of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Suzie (Donald) West and Gloria Pickens both of Mayfield, KY; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gayla Brittain; one brother, Lex Key; one sister, Edith Viera; several half-brothers and half-sisters; and her parents, Gaston Gatlin and Dalvie Sholar Key.

Funeral services for Mrs. Earlene Key Williams will be 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Glen Holifield will officiate.  Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
