Mrs. Elizabeth "Hope" Pickard Smith, age 72, of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at her residence with her loving husband at her side.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a leader at Celebrate Recovery and a retired employee of Mayfield Independent School System.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 20 years, Randy G. Smith; two sons, Chris (Amanda) Rule of Cuba, KY and Brian Smith of Southfield, MI; four daughters, Stephanie (Jamie) Lee of Mayfield, KY, Melissa (Michael) Travis of Thompson Station, TN, Jill (Brian) Kelly of Port Orange, FL and Lee (Logan Waggoner) Smith of Farmington, KY; two brothers, Mike (Debbie) Pickard of Cuba, KY and Bob (Vicki) Pickard of Mayfield, KY; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Pickard and her mother and stepfather, Richard "Dickie" and Anna Jean Barclay Brannock.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth "Hope" Pickard Smith will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Joey Reed and Rev. Adam Rush will officiate.  Inurnment will follow at a later date at Farmington Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the funeral home.
