Emily Flood Hawkins' Obituary
Mrs. Emily Flood Hawkins, age 36, of Hickory, KY passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mayfield, KY and an employee of Dr. Michael L. Bobo , DDS, MD, FACS.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her husband of 17 years, Wilby Hawkins; her father Bryan (Rita) Flood of Dexter, KY; her maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Vaughan of Lynnville, KY; one son, Jett Hawkins of Hickory, KY; one sister, Courtney (Robert) Polivick of Wickliffe, KY; three nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leisa Vaughan Flood; her maternal grandfather, James Vaughan; and her paternal grandparents, James and Iva Flood.
Memorial services for Mrs. Emily Flood Hawkins will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Joey Reed, Rev. Joe Hansen, Liz Hansen, and Rev. Paul Wilkerson will officiate.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
The family asks that everyone in attendance wear black and red in honor of her son, Jett. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jett Hawkins Scholarship Fund; C/O FNB Bank, 101 East Broadway Mayfield, KY 42066.
