Mrs. Evelyn F. Yarbrough, age 97, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield, KY.

She was a former member of 10th St. Pentecostal Church and a retired employee of Dwight's Shoe Store.

Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by her daughter, Jackie Rippy of Mayfield, KY; one sister, Marie West of Calvert City, KY; four grandchildren, Chris Rippy, Jason Yarbrough, Jon Yarbrough and Joshua Yarbrough; and one great grandchild, Jack Rippy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack P. Yarbrough; one son, Steven Yarbrough; and her parents, Enoch and Mary Hamlin Chapman.

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn F. Yarbrough will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Chad Lamb will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
