Mrs. Freda Scarbrough, age 88, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Clinton Place in Clinton, KY

She was a member of New Home Baptist Church and a retired employee of Mattel.

Mrs. Scarbrough is survived by her son, Rodney Scarbrough of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Richard (Lillian) Short of Mayfield, KY; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Scarbrough; one sister, Betty Short; and her parents, Joe B. and Letha Haley Short.

Graveside services for Mrs. Freda Scarbrough will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Hollan Cemetery.  Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. will officiate.  Danny Owens, Jonathan Short, Devin Scarbrough, Chris Lovett, David Prather, and Chad Short will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
