Mr. Gilberto Ortiz-Huaroco, age 65, of Mayfield passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mr. Ortiz-Huaroco is survived by his wife, Juliana Ortiz; one son, Sergio Ortiz of Mayfield, KY; three daughters, Maria G. Ortiz, Teresita D. Ortiz and Martha Ortiz all of Mayfield, KY; three brothers, Angel Ortiz-Huaroco of Battle Creek, MI, Francisco Ramos-Huaroco of Mexico, and Rodrigo Ramos-Huaroco; one sister, Magdalena Ramos-Huaroco of Michigan; fifteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Ivan A. Sanchez and his parents, Asuncion Ortiz and Francisca Huaroco.

Funeral mass for Mr. Gilberto Ortiz-Huaroco will be 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Father Eric Riley will officiate.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the church.
