Mr. Glenn H. McAlpin, age 86, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

He was of the Pentecostal faith, a longtime active Gideon member and former owner and operator of Community Credit Loan Company.

Mr. McAlpin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie J. McAlpin; two sons, Steve McAlpin and Ken (Angel) McAlpin both of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Zolen Ray (Shirley) McAlpin of Sedalia, KY; one sister, Martha C. McAlpin of Mayfield, KY; two grandchildren, Kenlee McAlpin of Murray, KY and James Glenn McAlpin of Mayfield, KY; a nephew, John Simpson of Mayfield, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James K. McAlpin and his parents, Ollie and Maggie Mae Motheral McAlpin.

Graveside services for Mr. Glenn H. McAlpin will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Robbins Cemetery.  James Stovall and Rev. Keith Allred will officiate.  Interment will follow.

Pallbearers will be Steve McAlpin, Ken McAlpin, Jay McAlpin, Kenlee McAlpin and John Simpson.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
