Mr. Jackie Dale Gills, age 69, of Palmersville, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN.

He was a retired employee of General Tire.

Mr. Gills is survived by two sons, Mike (Cristi) Gills and Jessie (Samantha) Gills both of Mayfield, KY and two grandchildren, Wyatt Gills and Jaxen Gills.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Lynn Gills and Lynn Dale Gills; one granddaughter, Trinity Grace Gills; and his parents, Jessie Willard "Jack" and Betty Lou Mansfield Gills.

Graveside services for Mr. Jackie Dale Gills will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Old Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Palmersville, TN.  Danny Tidwell will officiate.  Interment will follow.

Pallbearers will be Mike Gills, Jessie Gills, Wyatt Gills, Russ Gills, Reese Gills and Keaton Gills.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
