Mr. James Edward Brasure, age 51, of Sedalia passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.

He was a member of Lynnville Church of Christ, a former member of Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church and a former employee of Choctaw Transportation.

Mr. Brasure is survived by one brother, Jessie James (Melissa) Brasure of Sedalia, KY.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diedra Ironshell Brasure and his parents, James Willard and Rita Kay Wilson Brasure.

A memorial service for Mr. James Edward Brasure will be held at a later date.
