Mr. James McBee, age 54, of Hickory, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his residence.

He was of the Baptist faith and a truck driver for JMB Transport.

Mr. McBee is survived by his wife, Catherine Rogers McBee; his mother, Mary Morgan Hughes of Mayfield, KY; his father, Ira Dell McBee of Murfreesboro, TN; three daughters, Jamie Rogers of Murray, KY, Brooke McBee of Mayfield, KY and Lorrin McBee of Clarksville, TN; one brother, Tony McBee of Murfressboro, TN; five grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Les and Katie Morgan; his paternal grandparents, Noah and Katherine McBee; one daughter, Kristen McBee; and his step-father, Jimmy Hughes.

Funeral services for Mr. James McBee will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Bro. John Taylor and Bro. Paul Taylor will officiate.  Interment will follow at Rhodes Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
