James "Jim" Paul Payne, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. James Paul "Jim" Payne, Jr., age 72, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his residence.
He was a lifelong farmer and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. Payne is survived by his wife Lisa Sanderson Payne; three sons, James "J.P." (Heather) Payne, III of Wingo, KY, Corey Payne of Mayfield, KY and Cody (Kirsten) Payne of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Kelsey (Jordan) Clinton of Newbern, TN; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Payne and his parents, Paul and Bettie Wilson Payne.
Funeral services for Mr. James Paul "Jim" Payne, Jr. will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the funeral home. Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of Donations in Jim's name to; Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607 or samaritanspurse.org
