John Wayne Miller, age 87, of Mayfield, KY passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Mills Health and Rehab in Mayfield.

He formerly worked on the family farm. He also attended Northside Baptist Church in Mayfield.

John is survived by his brother, Jerry Lynn Miller of Mayfield, KY; two cousins, Pam (Jeff) Gossum of Mayfield, KY and Junior Miller of Paducah, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert "Buck" and Stella Mae Fleming Miller; two cousins, Bobby Ivy and George Miller.

A funeral service for John Wayne Miller is scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Al Chandler will officiate. Burial will follow in the North Mt. Zion Cemetery. Jim Keith, Stephen Keith, Joe Tucker, Robert Pratt, Don Lyonhurst, and Harold Humphries will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
