John W. Moses Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. John W. Moses, Jr., age 85, of Hickory passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Clinton Place in Clinton, KY.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a former board member of the Viola Fire Department, a retired Postmaster and farmer, and a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Moses is survived by one son, Martin (Donna) Moses of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Johnna (Ron) Conyea of Hickory, KY; four grandchildren, Patrick (Amber) Conyea, Emily Conyea (Nathan) Griffith, Shelby Moses (Jordan) Curtsinger and Madeline Grace Moses; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Shobe Moses; three sisters, Nancy Moses Jones, Jean Moses Richardson and Judy Moses Hughes; and his parents, John W. Moses, Sr. and Mary Louise Green Moses.
Funeral services for Mr. John W. Moses, Jr. will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.
Pallbearers will be Martin Moses, Ron Conyea, Patrick Conyea, Nathan Griffith and Jordan Curtsinger

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the funeral home.
