Mr. Johnny C. Stephens, age 60, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, a member of Sheet Metal Union Local #110 and a retired employee of Triangle Enterprises.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cathy Story Stephens; his parents, Hal and Brenda Stephens of Mayfield, KY; one son, John Kyle (Madison) Stephens of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Kayla Stephens of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Bobby (Jean) Stephens of Pryorsburg, KY; two sisters, Lisa Hand of Pennsylvania and Christy (T.J.) Prince of Sharon, TN; and five grandchildren, Landon Stephens, Brody Stephens, Kyleigh Kennedy, Violet Stephens and Kambree Kennedy.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnny C. Stephens will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Mark Stephens will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Randy Story, Marvin Brown, Zach Wilson, Bobby Story, Ron Turner and T.J. Prince.  Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Elliott, Jamie Elliott, Josh Elliott, Jason Elliott, Matthew Grissom and Alex Insco.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the funeral home.
