Joseph Richard Mathis' Obituary
Mr. Joseph Richard Mathis, age 75, of Benton, formerly of Mayfield, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at his residence.
He was of the Baptist faith, a former truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Mathis is survived by two daughters, Melissa Mathis of French Settlement, LA and Michelle Mathis of St. Amant, LA and one sister, Betty Sanderson of French Settlement, LA.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Williams; one brother, Jerry Lynn Mathis; and his parents, Monroe and Marjorie Heflin Mathis.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
