Mrs. Karolyn Jones King, age 83, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at The Bungalows in Mayfield, KY.

She was a member of Northside Church of Christ and a retired employee of the Graves County Circuit Clerk's Office.

Mrs. King is survived by her son, Craig Sanderson of Florida; one brother, Walton Jones of Mayfield, KY; three grandchildren, Brandon Sanderson of Missouri, Bruce Sanderson of Mayfield, KY and Hope McClure of Nashville, TN; one niece/caregiver, Marcia (Gary) Pritchett of Mayfield, KY; a caregiver, Michelle Watts of Wingo, KY; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby G. King; one son, Herbert Lee "Butch" Sanderson; two sisters, Norma Stewart and Virginia Stephenson; and her parents, Louie and Marie Dowdy Jones.

Graveside services for Mrs. Karolyn Jones King will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at North Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Chris Kemp will officiate.  Interment will follow.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Burge, Brandon Sanderson, Bruce Sanderson, Joey Watts, Trevor Wilson and Cody Jones.

Visitation will be 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
