Mrs. Kay Dillon Riley, age 88, of Mayfield passed away on June 18, 2026 at her residence.

She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and she also attended Grace Life Church.  She was the owner and operator of Riley's Barber Shop.

Mrs. Riley is survived by one son, Gentry Riley of Mayfield, KY; two daughters, Lisa Riley of Mayfield, KY and Kim (Keith) Lester of Yalaha, FL; seven grandchildren, April Wright, Misty Wright, Chris Lester, Jared Lester, Ginger Riley Sanderson, Will Riley and Christian Riley; and seven great grandchildren, Jacqueline Wright, Preston Hayes, Riley Pennington, Trenton Lester, Olivia Lester, Layla Lester and Liam Lester.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Boyd Riley; five brothers, Raymond Dillon, Carter Dillon, John Dillon, Paul Dillon and Richard Dillon; one sister, Dorothy Vaughn; one great grandchild, Joshua Isiah Klapp; and her parents, Douglas and Willie Bell Price Dillon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kay Dillon Riley will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Chad Lamb will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Chris Lester, Jared Lester, April Wright, Johnny Hicks, Lonnie Buckingham and Mako Nesler.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Hawkins, Keith Lester, Preston Hayes, Christian Riley, Tommy Vaughn, Joe Marshall, Eddie Dillon and Nick Dillon.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at the funeral home.
