Mr. Kenneth "Sam" Sasseen, age 88, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at his residence.

He was a member of Farmington Baptist Church and a retired employee of Continental General Tire.

Mr. Sasseen is survived by two sons, Steven Sasseen of Mayfield, KY and Stan Sasseen of Benton, KY; three grandchildren, Jessica (Greg) Hom of Fayetteville, NC, Jay (Fabiola) Sasseen of Portland, OR and Ellen (Aaron) Menser of Mayfield, KY; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Swann Sasseen; one brother, Ray Sasseen; and his parents, Pryor and Eletta Kinsey Sasseen.

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth "Sam" Sasseen will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ben Stratton will officiate.  Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Kinsey, John Kinsey, Greg Sasseen, Monty Sasseen, Roger Wetherington, Terry Richards and Aaron Menser. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Hom, Ned Wilford and Dan Wilford.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
