Mrs. Kristin Sims, age 39, of Symsonia passed away on March 30, 2026 at her residence.

She was a member of Coldwater Church of Christ and the assistant director of Clarks River Baptist Church Daycare.

Mrs. Sims is survived by her husband, Justin Sims; her parents, Kevin and Tammy Smith of Murray, KY; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Tammy Sims of Cuba, KY; her grandmother, Norma Sims Holmes of Mayfield, KY; her grandmother, Offie Dean Chadwick of Murray, KY; one son, Trap Sims of Symsonia, KY; one daughter, Caroline Sims of Symsonia, KY; and one brother, Mitchell Dean (Taryn) Smith of Mayfield, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kristin Sims will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Luke Puckett will officiate. Interment will follow at Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
