Leo "Lee" Eugene Stringer's Obituary
Mr. Leo "Lee" Eugene Stringer, age 78, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
He was of the Catholic faith, a retired employee of Parkway School District in Chesterfield, MO and a U.S. Marine veteran.
Mr. Stringer is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Higgins Stringer; one son, Tommy Blasa of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Tina (Jerry) Hensley of Sedalia, KY; one brother, Mike Stringer of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Molly Stringer of St. Louis, MO; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Helen Milezko Stringer.
A private graveside memorial service will be held at Matheny Cemetery in Trigg County at a later date.
Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
