Mrs. Linda Monroe, age 103, of Hickory passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at her residence.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a lifelong member of Graves County Homemakers Club, an active member of WMU and a retired employee of General Tire.

Mrs. Monroe is survived by two sons, Gregory Alan (Sherry) Monroe of Gilbertsville, KY and George David (Brenda) Monroe of Spotsylvania, VA; five grandchildren, Wendy (Dale) Weaver, Matthew (Amy) Monroe, Melanie (Eddie) McLaughlin, Heather (Phil) Dickinson and Elizabeth (Steve) Rosi; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Monroe; one sister, Lois Simpson Puckett; and her parents, Moddrel and Annie Wilson Thorpe.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.

Graveside services for Mrs. Linda Monroe will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Larry Buchanan will officiate.  Interment will follow.  Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
