Mrs. Lois Ann Dowdy, age 76 of Cuba, KY passed away Saturday February 6, 2021 at the Mayfield Health and Rehab in Mayfield, KY.

She was a retired charge nurse.

Mrs. Dowdy is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ray Lynn Dowdy; two sons, Leon Solomon of Graves County, KY and Robert Solomon; two daughters, Crystal Dowdy (John) Harrison of Graves County, KY and Sandra Solomon Bracken of Mayfield, KY; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by one son, Terry Solomon; one daughter, Teresa Solomon; two brothers, Billy DeJarnett and Buddy DeJarnett; two sisters, Ruby Fowler and Mary Riley; her parents were Loyce and Ruth Carpenter DeJarnett.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00PM Tuesday February 9, 2021 at the Lynnville Pentecostal Cemetery. Rev. Mickey Fowler will officiate. No visitation is scheduled. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
