Lucila Cruz Muniz, age 48, of Mayfield, KY passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield and a homemaker for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Domingo Oronia; mother, Ma. Herlinda Muniz Cruz of Mexico; two sons, Gabriel Oronia Cruz and Sebastian Oronia Cruz both of Mayfield; three daughters, Lucero Oronia Cruz, Yasmin Oronia Cruz and Mariana Oronia Cruz all of Mayfield; five brothers, Saul Cruz Muniz, Jose Magdaleno Cruz Muniz, Roberto Cruz Muniz all of Mayfield, Manuel Cruz Muniz of Mexico, and Chon Cruz of California; four sisters, Alma Delia Cruz Muniz  and Belinda Cruz Muniz both of Mayfield, Gloria Cruz Muniz of Mexico, and Policarpia Cruz Muniz of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father Macario Cruz.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00AM Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield. Father Eric Riley will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 6:30 PM Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield. Byrn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
