Mrs. Maria G. Carmona, age 77, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mrs. Carmona is survived by four sons, Jose Luis Rosas of Mayfield, KY, Valetin Rosas of Dresden, TN, Jose Luz Rosas of Mayfield, KY and Miguel Rosas of Mayfield, KY; four daughters, Marisela Rosas of Mayfield, KY, Ana Maria Rosas of Houston, TX, Candelaria Rosas of Mayfield, KY and Maria Rosas of Mayfield, KY; eight brothers; five sisters; thirty-two grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Luz Rosas; one daughter, Yanet Rosas; and her parents, David and Oliva Carmona.

A funeral mass for Mrs. Maria G. Carmona will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 702 West Broadway, Mayfield, KY 42066.  Father Eric Riley will officiate.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
