Maria Guadalupe De La Paz, age 71 of Mayfield, KY passed away Tuesday December 14, 2021 at her residence.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield.

Mrs. De La Paz is survived by her husband, Joel De La Paz; two sons, Junior De La Paz and Victor De La Paz both of Mayfield, KY; three daughters, Hortencia (Rigoberto) Ramirez of Mayfield, KY, Araceli (Antonio) Alanis of Mayfield, Martha (Hugo) Hernandez of Murray, KY; four brothers, Salvador Soto of Mexico, Samuel Soto of Mayfield, KY, Alfonso Soto of Paducah, KY, Ismael Soto of Paducah, KY; five sisters, Josefina Soto of Paducah, KY, Abigail Soto of Mexico, Serafina Soto, Victoria Soto, Isabel Soto all of Paducah, KY; 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruperto and Petra Garcia Soto.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00AM Thursday, December 16, 2021 St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Paducah, KY. Father Eric Riley will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Mayfield, KY. Visitation will be held after 5PM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Paducah, KY. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
