Miss Marianne Piper, age 73, of Farmington passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at her residence.

She was a retired nurse having worked at Lourdes Hospital, Lourdes Hospice and Jackson Purchase Medical Center.  Miss Piper was also a U.S. army veteran having served 8 1/2 years active duty.

Miss Piper is survived by her adopted daughter, Tonya Brigance of Amarillo, TX; one nephew, Raymond Piper; three nieces, Hillary Piper, Leslie Piper and Linda Piper; one great niece, Brooke Piper; and one great nephew, Zachary Piper.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert "Bob" Piper and John A. "Tony" Piper; two sisters, Deanie Hall and Jackie Pope; and her parents, Henry and Betty Pigg Piper.

A celebration of life for Miss Marianne Piper will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at New Liberty Baptist Church.
