Mrs. Mary Frances Bennett, age 99, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah, KY.

She was a member of Farmington Church of Christ and also attended Seven Oaks Church of Christ.  She was also a 65 year charter member of Farmington Friendship Homemakers Club, a member of Mayfield Garden Club, and a member of Mayfield-Graves County Quilt Club.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by one son, Andy N. Bennett of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Patricia S. "Susie" Brown of Kuttawa, KY; and three sisters, Joyce Cavitt Wilferd of Farmington, KY, Jean Cavitt (Fred) Miller of Benton, KY and Sarah Cavitt Wright of Farmington, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred N. Bennett; one sister, Barbara Cavitt Jones; two brothers, James Cavitt and Billy Cavitt; and her parents, Otho and Maeflower Robbins Cavitt.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Bennett will be be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Brian Egerton and Bridges Holland will officiate.  Interment will follow at Farmington Cemetery.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
