Mrs. Mary "Carol" Calhoun, age 82, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Community Church, a former employee of Youngblood's True Value and a retired cashier from Walmart.

Mrs. Calhoun is survived by one brother, David G. (Beverly) Carlisle of Mayfield, KY and two sisters, Dorthy Carlisle and Betty (David) Haley both of Mayfield, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Calhoun and her parents, David and Adelle Green Carlisle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary "Carol" Calhoun will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Richard Dowdy will officiate.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Haley, Scott Haley, Austin Haley, Blake Haley, Patrick McGuire and David Lee.  Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Paschall, Jarrod McMillin, Paul McCoy, Connor Dudley, Caleb Dudley and Nathan Haley.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
