Mrs. Mary L. Tallent, age 95, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Mills Health and Rehab in Mayfield, KY.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mayfield, KY and a retired employee of Mills Manor.

Mrs. Tallent is survived by one son, Steven L. (Anita) Gipson of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Susan C. (Bob) Mills of Mayfield, KY; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Gipson; her second husband, Richard Tallent; one daughter, Anita Louise Gipson; two sisters, Faye Marie Patton and Lora Priest; one brother, Glenn Huckaby; and her parents, Alfred and Julia Sinko Huckaby.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary L. Tallent will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. will officiate.  Interment will follow at North Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
