Mildred E. Breedlove, age 89, of Benton, KY formerly of Mayfield, KY passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

She was a retired employee from Caring Peoples Services, and a member of the Pleasant Hope Baptist Church in Benton, KY.

Mildred is survived by her seven daughters, Susan Johnson of Portsmouth, OH, Marcia Horsley of Wingo, KY, Lisa Sullivan of Mayfield, KY, Michelle Curlin of Benton, KY Elena Hooper of Knoxville, TN, Crystal Bradfield of Houma, LA, Donna Scearce of Collinsville, Va; three sons, Doug Breedlove of Lucasville, OH, Lynn Breedlove of Plano, TX, and Jim Breedlove of Medina, OH; thirty grandchildren and thirty-seven great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Breedlove; five sons, Richard Robertson, Mark Robertson, Kenneth Robertson, Robin Robertson, and Michael Robertson; two brothers, Carl Newberry and Ray Newberry; two great-grandchildren, Trinity Gills and Josef Harrison; her parents were Chester and Winnie Webb Newberry.

A funeral service for Mildred E. Breedlove is scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Larry Fraser and Rev. Carl Butler will officiate. Interment will follow at the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Travis Palmer, Tyler Palmer, Josh Kee, Jessie Gills, Jeremy Johnson, Zach Farmer, Eddie Cruse will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday June 11, 2025 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
