Ms. Nita Jane Nicholes Brown, age 75, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at her residence.

She was a retired employee of Southgate Nursing Home.

Ms. Brown is survived by one son, Joe (Heather) Brown of Wingo, KY; one daughter, Tammy Jo Brown (Kenny) Sanford of Hickory, KY; three grandchildren, Zoe Brown, Brannon Sanford and Colby (Myrandda) Sanford; and two great grandchildren, Kennedy Sanford and Virginia Sanford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Jane Bradley Nicholes.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
