Mrs. Norma Jean Champion Stovall, age 81, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 at her residence.

She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and a retired employee of Morningside of Mayfield.

Mrs. Stovall is survived by two sons, Dennis Stovall of Los Angeles, CA and David Stovall of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Irine Sarten and Kathy (Ted) Cash both of Mayfield, KY; and her caregivers, Tracy Bentkowski of Paducah, KY, Rita Pirtle of Mayfield, KY, Cora Stubblefield of Mayfield, KY, Wendy Fitts of Mayfield, KY and Kim Felts of Benton, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Stovall and her parents, Edwin and Milta Henley Champion.

Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jean Champion Stovall will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Dr. Mike Baker will officiate.  Interment will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ed Burge, Jordan Burge, Robert Copeland, Bob Lewis, Grayson Baker and Eric Sweeney.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
