Mr. R. Bailey Barnett beloved daddy, uncle, brother, son and friend, age 40, of Coldwater, KY passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at his home

He lived with his internal demons most of his life.  However, he still loved spending time with his family as grillmaster, adventures with his daughter, Brentlie, wrestling coach to his nephew, Lane and biggest four-wheeler racing fan for his nephews, Isaac and Luke.  He enjoyed many hours of playing pool with his friends and his dad at the Eagle's Club in Mayfield, KY.

Mr. Barnett is survived by his daughter, Brentlie Henson Barnett; a special friend, Brittainy Henson; one sister, Cynthia (Jamie) Parrish; his bonus brother, Michael (Christina) Coleman; three special nephews, Lane Parrish, Isaac Parrish and Luke Parrish; his dad, Steve (Julie Jackson) Barnett; and his mother, Treasa Adams.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Toy Lee and Diane Barnett and his maternal grandparents, Richard and Betty Adams.

Graveside services for Mr. R. Bailey Barnett will be 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Asbury Cemetery.  Michael Smith will officiate. Interment will follow.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
