Ray Jean Burgess' Obituary
Mrs. Ray Jean Burgess, age 69, of Kirksey, KY passed away Saturday September 25, 2021 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, KY.
She was retired from the Mayfield Messenger Newspaper and of the baptist faith.
Ray Jean is survived by her husband of 25 years, Larry Burgess; one daughter, Misty (Dr. Kimathi) Doss of Louisville, KY; one brother, Roger Reed of Mayfield, KY; one sister, Rebecca Stanley of Mayfield, KY; two grandchildren, Kennedy and McKenzie Doss.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Reed and her parents Ray and Ruby Adams Reed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
