Mr. Ray Glen Doran, age 86, of Mayfield passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at his residence.

He was a retired employee of the U. S. Postal Service and a U. S. Air Force veteran.

Mr. Doran is survived by one son, Mark (Terri) Doran of Hickory, KY; one daughter, Glenda (Joey) Green of Mayfield, KY; three sisters, Mary Sue Cates of Mayfield, KY, Jenny Harrison of Farmington, KY and Marcie (Billy) Martin of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren, Sarah Green of Canada, Elizabeth (Zac) Sheakley of Murray, KY, Rebecca (Brady) Clark of Bowling Green, KY and Torii Doran of Hickory, KY; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Herbert Doran, A.G. Doran, Darrell Doran and Johnny Doran; one sister, Frances Henson; and his parents, Charles and Birdie Copeland Doran.

A memorial service for Mr. Ray Glen Doran will be 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Bro. Joey Green will officiate.

Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.

Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
