Rick W. Tedder, age 79,  of Farmington passed away comfortably on Sunday, August 3, 2025 surrounded by his family.

He was a devoted Christian, a Vietnam Veteran, loving husband, father and grandfather. Rick was an active member of Trace Creek Baptist Church where he took part in The Promise and loved to sing in the choir.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Tedder; one son, Brad (Erica) Tedder of Centerville, IN; two daughters, Penny Tedder and Devada (Kent) Jackson both of Mayfield, KY; five grandchildren, Kailee (Conner) Pierson, Emily (Isaac) Combs, Braden Tedder, McKenzie Jackson and Destiny McKenty; and one brother, Jeff (Jodie) Tedder.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rea Gordon; his father, Ray Tedder; and one brother, David Tedder.

Funeral services for Mr. Rick W. Tedder will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Trace Creek Baptist Church.  Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. and Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. will officiate.  Interment will follow at Trace Creek Cemetery.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.

Pallbearers will be Kent Jackson, Jordan Jones, Braden Tedder, Josh Madding, Michael Jones and Ron Gardner.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5 at the church.
