Robert Dunkin, age 75, of Mayfield, KY formerly of Dyersburg, TN passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

He retired from Caterpillar Inc. and attended Trace Creek Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY.

Robert is survived by one son, Austin (Stephanie) Dunkin of Fancy Farm, KY; three daughters, Leslie Dunkin (Mark) Garland of Mayfield, KY, Lisa Dunkin Mix of Mayfield, KY, and Sabrina Dunkin (Tim) Thompson of Colorado; two sisters, Mary Williams of Missouri and Faye Dunkin of Oregon; eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Racheal Wright and his parents S.M. and Jeanette Dunkin.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
